  • Can I pay by card?

To find out if you can pay by card – and how much you can send. You can only know that by knowing from where you are sending from and the acceptable payment options generated by the invoice during the process of placing your order.
  • What card types does Varmstra accept?

We accept most types of debit, credit and pre o -paid cards issued by Visa or MasterCard.
We do not accept cards from:
Amex, Dinner and Union Pay cards
  • Why was my card declined?

Varmstra won’t know why a card payment was declined, because many things may be involve, but are not handled at our end.
Contact your card issuer’s payments or authorisation department for more information.
  • Will I incur any extra fees for paying by card?

Debit Cards :

There are usually no extra fees other than those stated at the time you make payment.
However, if your card is issued in a country other than the one registered on your Varmstra account (for example, using a Naira card when your account is based in the US), your card issuer may charge a foreign exchange fee. That fee is not charged by Varmstra.

Credit Cards :

Some credit card issuers may charge a cash transfer fee. This fee not charged by Varmstra.rmstra.
  • Can I pay using someone else’s card?

No, it’s not advisable. The money you transfer must come from your own card.
Varmstra is a financially regulated provider – this means we need to ensure we know the identity of our customers and the source of the funds they pay with.
  • How long does a card refund take?

Once cancellation has been confirmed, a refund will be credited within 7 working days.
However, this may be different if you are using a pre-paid card. Contact your card issuer or check their terms and conditions.
